Yesterday Morgan brought the finished pieces to the church. They look great. This past Saturday we had sat and discussed 2 of the pieces. Today he heads out to review pricing for finish and the like.
I have put them up for sale beginning today. This is the website. They look awesome. As I look at them I fall in love with what the heart of the Father is for His people. "...The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much."
(James 5:16b) It is my heart that we are called back to prayer. These altars are prayed over 7 days that they might accomplish what I feel God asked, for people to be reminded of their friends and family and to pray. "And Joshua said unto all the people [of Israel], . . . choose you this day whom ye will serve; . . . but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord" (Josh. 24:2, 15).
It is my desire that we not get religious, for true religion is defined as taking care of the widows and orphans and living our lives above reproach, but that we get real. Real with God and real with one another. We do not need more broken homes or broken children. We do not need more corrupt politicians or immoral Hollywood stars. And God knows we could find immorality and corruption in the church.
And recently I felt the Lord say that these will remind people to pray for our nation and those in authority over us.
